Boxing Day
The origins for boxing day vary according to time and space. When i was little, i thought boxing day was dedicated to the sport of boxing and there would be many fights on tv, but there weren't..haha...chong beng mah..
I guess boxing day this year will be to remember those who lost their lives in the tsunami. As a geography student, never in my dreams did i expect a real tsunami of such a scale to occur in my lifetime,and so close to home; and wreck so much havoc. The boxing day tsunami was 'instant history', so to speak. An event which will far outlive us, and forever be etched into the annuls of history. My prayers and thoughts go out to those who perished and those whose lives have been affected.
On a livelier note, its the boxing day programme in the EPL and i hope the football lives up to the festive season hype. And of course, for United to pick up 3 points !!
